You are invited to a special introductory experience at Eka. In this gentle, instructional one-hour session participants will explore the basics of meditation, breathing and postures (called asanas). Learn the proper alignment for practicing seated postures as well as the details of other foundational yoga asanas such as Mountain pose and Warrior. Feel the power of lying down with the deliberate intent to completely relax the body and rest the mind. This session is intended to provide a good basic understanding of what you might expect from a yoga class at Eka and other yoga studios/classes, and/or enhance your home practice.
All are welcome and special accommodations will be offered for those with injuries, mobility limitations or other concerns.
