Experience Yoga from the inside out by learning the fundamentals of moving.

In this gentle 8-week series, you will discover how to move in the most gentle and efficient way for your body. We explore the fundamentals of moving and how they underlie every activity and yoga position. You'll build confidence and internal awareness through alignment and mindful movement, and find stability and ease through a blend of standing, seated and floor poses. All levels and injuries or limitations are welcome.

This course is not suitable for drop-in and does not offer alternative make-up days. Students registering for this 8-week course may "add-on" additional classes at Eka at a discount. Contact Laura at (315) 730-6355 with questions.

Alexis helps people move with ease, awareness, and confidence. With over 700 hours of training, she teaches universal movement principles that can be applied to any activity or Yoga practice. Her classes blend the mindful, embodied practice of Donna Farhi, the alignment principles of Iyengar Yoga, the strength and stamina of vinyasa, and the energetic awareness and ancient techniques of Ashram Yoga. During her time with Ashram Yoga, she was given with the Yoga name Lilashakti, meaning the Power of Divine Play. Alexis also teaches pranayama, the ancient art of Yogic Breathing, and meditation.
